Many of the lawns we mow have become dry and compacted from the long summer with very little rainfall that Melbourne have had this year. Another task we’ve been doing is aerating the grass to allow oxygen to get to the soil. We use an aerator but for those of you who don’t have one, a pitchfork will do the job too!
